Autumn Activities in Boise
Though it is a hard choice, our team thinks autumn is the top season in our Boise community. Between fun fall fests and Halloween spooks, the cool weather, and a wide range of things make this season our favorite! Check out the Northwestern Marketing Concepts team’s top autumn activities in Boise below.
Family-Friendly Fall Events
Why not go to something good for the whole family when it comes to fall events? Spending time outside in the cooler weather with our loved ones, small and tall, is a perfect way to spend this season.
What comes to your mind first when you think of fall? For us, it’s football season! We highly suggest going to a Boise State game or a local high school football match to soak in this season’s most exciting sport. What team are you going to watch?
You can catch our team scouring local farmer’s markets for delicious seasonal food and unique gifts! There are many nearby markets to check out around Boise and surrounding areas – which is your favorite to browse?
For a fun activity that even the youngest ghouls and boos will enjoy, check out Boo at the Zoo! There are many festive activities to see and do at Boise Zoo. Between trick-or-treating, checking out the animals, and dressing up in your costume, it is a fun way to celebrate fall and Halloween with the family!
Thrilling Spooky Events
For the thrill-seekers out there, our team has tested out these spooky events and can assure you that they are hair-raising! If you are looking for a scary night, we highly recommend checking out Haunted World – if you dare! This thrilling activity is a tradition to check out at Northwestern Marketing Concepts, and if you miss checking it out this year, there’s always next year!
If you are a history buff, check out Macabre History of Boise: Walking Tour in downtown Boise. The activity isn’t so in-your-face scary but offers a chilling sense of terror with the real stories of the past. We found it so interesting to know some of our community’s spooky and terrifying histories!
Fall Festivals
Our team constantly thinks of fall festivals when we think of autumn. Our community has many different festivals to choose from, but we are here to help you sort them out! First, we recommend attending annual Oktoberfests, such as Old Boise Oktoberfest. This ‘fest features local seasonal beer sure to make you feel warm and fuzzy, but also seasonal activities to keep you coming back annually.
Another fall festival we recommend is the Fall Harvest at the Garden. This harvest festival, held at the Idaho Botanical Garden, includes cool happenings like fall yoga and a chance to enjoy the cooler outdoor weather.
